Missions Opportunities
Brook Hollow serves others in Jesus’ name through several hands-on missions opportunities.
Bellevue Community Food Bank: This ongoing ministry serves up to 600 individuals monthly. We have a collection box in the foyer to receive your donated food items. Each month, all donated items are delivered to the food bank located at Bellevue United Methodist Church.
C.O.O.L Ministry: Crocheting Out Of Love is a group of women who meet and crochet baby blankets for preemie babies born at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital Midtown. They also provide homemade prayer shawls for people in need of comfort.
Kentucky Mountain Mission Trip: For over 50 years, Brook Hollow has taken the gospel to the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. Our teens and adults lead Vacation Bible School during the summer. At Christmas, we return to provide toys, food, and other gifts for families. We seek to share Jesus Christ and to nurture enduring relationships.
Operation Christmas Child: Brook Hollow partners with Samaritan’s Purse to share the Good News of Jesus and make disciples of all nations. We pack shoeboxes with toys, hygiene items, and school supplies that are given to children in need around the world.
Women on Mission: This group meets monthly to study the Bible, learn about missions, pray for missionaries, and fellowship. Each month, they lead a church-wide mission project to serve people in our community, state, or world. They meet at 10 a.m. the third Tuesday of each month.
